Online-only financial institution first direct, has relaunched its change incentive, paying new clients £175 after they make a full change to its 1st Account, writes Bethany Garner. Sidekick is the second investing platform to launch a cash savings account this month, following in the footsteps of Trading212, which started offering a money ISA last week (see story from 12 June). However, the bonus fee could not apply to the complete steadiness – it’s going to solely be paid on the portion of their money deposit that matches their ISA investment. Virgin Money is offering a 2% bonus fee on its one-year E-Bond, taking the AER to a market-leading 6.65%. But to qualify for the speed, savers must make a large investment by way of the Virgin’s Stocks and Shares ISA, writes Bethany Garner. Once the respective criteria are met, the £175 welcome bonus might be paid within 28 days.
